 hey have received training at the Penland School of Crafts\, 
 the University of Virginia’s Rare Book School\, and worksho
 ps sponsored by professional organizations\, colleges\, and mu
 seums throughout the New England and mid-Atlantic states.  
 Their collection of equipment and type was purchased from we
 ll-known collectors interested in preserving letterpress pri
 nting\, including John Barrett and the late Dave Churchman. 
  They have decided to offer items for this auction because o
 f the need to downsize the substantial collection filling th
 eir studio.  Also included are a few non-letterpress collec
